Setting Up Multi-Tax Billing

Overview

CulinaOS supports GST-compliant multi-tax billing including CGST, SGST, and IGST. You can assign different tax slabs to individual menu items.

Step 1 — Configure Tax Slabs

Go to Settings → Billing → Tax Configuration. Add the required GST slabs (5%, 12%, 18%, 28%).

1. Go to Settings → Billing → Tax Configuration
2. Click + Add Tax Slab
3. Enter name (e.g. GST 5%) and rate
4. Toggle CGST/SGST split if applicable

Step 2 — Assign Tax to Items

In Menu → Items, edit each item and assign the appropriate tax slab from the dropdown.

Step 3 — Invoice Preview

Your bills and invoices will automatically show the tax breakdown. Download a test invoice from Billing → Preview.
